About SaleBarn West

SaleBarn West puts free weekly calf and feeder cattle prices from auction markets across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in one place. Steer and heifer prices by weight, with the sale date and a link to where each number came from.

Why we built it

If you're selling calves or buying feeders, you shouldn't have to check a dozen auction market websites to see what cattle brought this week. SaleBarn West gathers those results onto one page and one free Friday email.

Where the numbers come from

Prices come from each auction market's own posted sale results, plus government reports (Manitoba Agriculture and the Alberta Weekly Livestock Market Review) and Canfax averages. Every table shows its source and sale date and links back to the original. We copy the prices as reported and never estimate or fill in missing ones. See Sources for the full list.

Independent

SaleBarn West is independent. We're not affiliated with any auction market or with Canfax, and prices are shown the same way for every auction market. Paid spots, like featured sales and sponsors, are always clearly labelled.

Spot a mistake?

If a price, date or auction market detail looks wrong, email [email protected] and tell us the auction market, the sale date and what doesn't look right. We'll check it against the source and fix it.
